I met up with this super couple yesterday afternoon for their engagement session. Despite the wind lately we managed to find a calm spot or 2.

These two got married last summer (2011) and so this was a great first year style anniversary session for them!

This cute little man was born in December, but we didn’t get a chance to get together until February. We attempted a session in January – but then my truck broke down in Fox Creek.. so I didn’t exactly MAKE IT. Thank you D & G for being so super flexible!!

I’ve known X’s Mom for quite a long time – and had the pleasure of photographing her and G’s wedding in 2010. It was super exciting to find out that they were expecting, and then to get the call again to capture more memories for their little family.

Look who came to visit yesterday. Too CUTE.

I had the pleasure of meeting up with this year’s Valentine’s Love Session Winners this weekend. It was a beautiful day, with probably more sun than I actually wanted.

L&S were married last summer, and took advantage of their free session to get some updated photos of the themselves, as well as some family shots with their son and doggie. Stay tuned for photos from the whole session!

I just adore finding gem’s like these when I am going through the images from a session… this snuggle between Mom & Baby X certainly strums at my heartstrings.

When I brought this hat to this sweetie’s session I never dreamt she would have a onesie to match! Perfection.

Whoops! I just realized that I have apparently been on a blogging holiday – no new posts for almost a month.. not exactly the best way to keep you all tuned in hey? While I have been “away” I have actually made a few changes to the site, met some really awesome new clients, and have been busy shooting and editing newborns, baby bumps, and engagement sessions. Oh and I also spent last weekend down in Calgary at a fun wedding photographers conference! I have some great plans and ideas for this coming wedding season! While I wasn’t at the conference I was hanging out and catching up with Tessa (who I met back in Photography School..).

I spent the afternoon with the lovely baby girl D – she is just under two weeks old and happens to live four doors down from us.. so I loaded up my wagon and headed down the street for an afternoon positively full of baby girl snuggles, yummy coffee, and the sounds of baby’s two older sisters busy playing in the background.
